About the Instructors

Angela Amirault, BA, Grad Dip, MBPT is an Interviewer and Facilitator for Psychedelic Sitters School, and has spent over two decades in the mental health field. Originally from Nova Scotia, Canada, Angela has lived and practiced in Ireland, Colorado, and Canada — with her career now focused primarily on psychedelic medicine.
Angela received advanced credentialing as a Mindfulness-Based Psychedelic Therapist through Psychedelic Sitters School in 2022 and subsequently joined the Medicinal Mindfulness team. She became the first practitioner to offer a legal week-long cannabis and psilocybin retreat. In 2023 she returned to Nova Scotia and founded Altered Healing, a cannabis-assisted psychedelic therapy practice.
Her work is informed by her own healing path with psychedelics, connection with nature, movement practices, and community. Angela is grateful to support the next generation of guides entering this field with skill and integrity.

Christopher Lee, CMT, CAPT-G
Certified Massage Therapist (CMT#71439)
Cannabis Assisted Psychedelic Therapy Guide
Chris is an internationally acclaimed electronic music producer and DJ, turned energy worker and mindfulness coach in his own private practice and an educator on the training leadership team for the Center for Medicinal Mindfulness’ Psychedelic Sitter’s School program. As a credentialed psychedelic guide, he draws from decades of musical expertise to create individualized sound healing landscapes attuning to his client’s holistic unfolding, thus supporting release, integration and wholeness.
Chris’ mindfulness coaching is an offering born from his own healing journey. Experiencing anxiety attacks, depression, chronic pain and chronic fatigue in his early thirties motivated him to seek optimal health and healing from a variety of practitioners and modalities before finding relief and aligning with his life purpose: to help others ease suffering by journeying inwards and reconnecting with their own wholeness. Through trauma informed, somatic based, mindfulness and spiritual tools he now helps his clients to gain a better understanding of their internal experience and start to unwind and befriend deeply hidden parts of themselves.

Rich Tyo is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) with 12 years of front-line community mental health crisis experience working within psychiatric, multi-disciplinary care teams. For the past seven years, they have been supporting psychedelic preparation and integration work and founded the local psychedelic society — hosting integration circles and psychedelic cannabis circles through Neuma.
They are trained in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, Psychedelic Cannabis (Medicinal Mindfulness), and Somatic and Relational Psychedelic Therapy. They are a Therapsil Associate and supervisor and have supported a legal psilocybin session under a Section 56 exemption.
Their academic training includes Criminology and Psychology (University of Ottawa). They are familiar with the MAPS MDMA protocol, Zendo Project harm-reduction model, transpersonal psychology, and Stanislav Grof’s framework for non-ordinary states.
In addition to clinical work, they have presented internationally at Beyond Psychedelics (Berlin) and Altered Conference (Prague) on integration, harm reduction, and psychedelic education. Outside of their professional roles, they engage in personal practices such as yoga, mindfulness, and meditation — and are also a songwriter, musician, and published poet.
